Jewel-bright embroidered butterflies feature on both plain silk and on a rich opulent silk jacquard. Other silks include elegant stylised florals and vibrant parrot tulips. Velvets, both plain and patterned also incorporate some unexpected effects with the modulated colours of a ‘jaspe’ yarn used as a background for the damask and the contemporary dot design. Even the plain velvet is enlivened by a textural stripe, while the striking contrast of a velvety flock yarn on silk ombre creates drama.
